Honoring Corporal Michael Middlebrook
The Middlebrook Foundation was founded to honor the life and sacrifice of Corporal Michael Middlebrook, and to continue his mission of helping the poor and less fortunate residents of the Lafayette community.
His legacy will live on.
Not so long ago, an angel walked the Earth. He fed the hungry and helped the poor, and cared for those less fortunate than him. He was a man of God and a man of faith. He was a man who loved his family — a loving husband and father. He was honored with the Heart of Law Enforcement Award. His name was Corporal Michael Middlebrook.
October 1, 2017, he was killed in the line of duty. His love and compassion for mankind will never be forgotten. His legacy will continue to live on.
Honoring Michael Middlebrook's Legacy About Michael's Mission
During his time with the Lafayette Police Department, Michael was quietly helping the poor and less fortunate residents of the community he patrolled. Michael didn’t tell anyone of his “acts of kindness”, because he didn’t do it for the recognition. He did these things from his heart, knowing it was what God wants us all to do.
The Middlebrook Foundation was created to continue Michael's good works.
